Brown’s, attendance. While we understand the importance of regular attendance, we must emphasize that Aria’s recent absences are directly related to the lack of planning and support for her unique needs. The transition process between teachers has not been managed in a way that ensures consistency and support, which is crucial for Aria’s success. It is the school’s responsibility to facilitate a smooth and supportive experience for all students, especially those with specific needs. The absence of a well-organized plan has heightened Aria’s feelings of exclusion and negatively impacted her mental health. Additionally, Aria has experienced discrimination, mistreatment, and exclusion from staff, specifically due to the actions of DeAugustio, whose dismissive and antagonistic approach has left her feeling unsafe and unsupported. We are currently exploring alternative educational options to provide Aria with a more inclusive and empathetic learning environment.
