4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNice faulty, some teachers are passive-aggressive, do not care if the class average is way below falling, or just mentally immature and put their personal problems onto students. Students vape and hang out in the halls in groups; it's outrageous. Counselors are pretty nice; look out for the teachers. Do not send your child here if you want them to have a safe and positive learning environment.Student Review2y ago4 Reviews - Beebe School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a public school teacher myself (reading specialist), I critique the Beebe through both the eyes of an educator and as a parent. My daughter has only been at the school for two years but the experience so far has been great. Their curricula for both math and reading is excellent. The teachers are very caring and supportive. I think the school could have more extra curricular maybe, but that’s about it. We are also happy with the school’s afterschool options.Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Ferryway School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is the worst school my kid has been to. They’ve been at this school ever since Kindergarten, and there are so many teachers who are extremely rude and disrespectful. Some teachers luckily aren’t like that, but the majority of them are. Not only that, but the Administrators are lazy and point fingers to whoever they think was apart of a situation. My kid was falsely accused of skipping class in the bathroom, as other kids were inside FIGHTING IN THE STALL. This school is insanely unsafe and unguarded. One of the Eighth grade teachers were even forcing my kid to sing in front of the class. This school doesn’t teach singing. If you want someone to do so, then go teach chorus. The same teacher even trashed the Administrators after they said to exclude my kid out of that assignment. Some of these teachers need to be put in their place. It’s disgusting how my kid can be treated by them and get little to no punishment EVER. Never enroll your kid in this school unless you’re ready for the massive amounts of complaints from them.Parent Review10mo ago12 Reviews - Forestdale School

"I walk within my neighborhood if I'm going somewhere close. If it is for work, I would take the train. It can be a mess to travel. Traffic seems to be clustered when it is busy."

"this is a fantastic area for young families w/children; school is in walking distance and it is fairly new to the neighborhood and rates as an excellent school for elementary children. There is no crime whatsoever in this neighborhood; i wud highly recommend anyone to buy their first new home in this area."

"Malden is a small city north of Boston -- very diverse, friendly and affordable. Great restaurants, reflecting both long-time Maldonians and new immigrants. Lots of community involvement in the arts, sports, bicycling, libraries and education. The city has good MBTA access and bus lines that go to the areas beyond the T stations. "

"This is probably a quiet area, decent access to the T, but over 8 minutes walk is horrible in the winter"
