I am a recent graduate of CCHS class of 2024, First off nobody was able to learn due to disruptions by other students in classes (minus my time as a cadet in the battalion) and nobody was able to learn anything. At one point in my carrer as a student there, the teacher would assign work and then test us on something completly different then what was taught. Thankfully I had teachers that actually cared about my saftey and well being during my senior year. My family was never included in my education unless my mother made a first movem and personally the social emotional support wasn't their at all. they essentially sent me to a hospital to leave me their instead of making the school a safer place for students

This school has won the blue ribbon for education award many times. I am a parent of a smart add challenged child. The teachers motivate her! She went from a C student to an honor roll student with 6 times the AR points. We have a booster club, where we do "free things to reward & enrich the children's lives." The teachers are great, as they are there for the right reasons; they love children, enjoy teaching them, & BELIEVE in each child. I am proud this school is this is a "No bully zone!" The children are taught to stand up for other children, tell a teacher, principal, parent etc. They have student conferences about how to work out conflicts in ways that make other students feel good, by pointing out what is right with other children by what they like about them. Teachers give up a third of pay to buy class equipment & supplies. Parents & others can volunteer. We run copies. Teachers have more time to teach. We help with the Librarian to dedicate more time to students. Any poverty stricken child is given food on Fridays . I have seen children who turned into butterflies: socially & intellectually. The kids have the power of Believing in themselves & others!
