North Lake is an awesome hidden jewel in Oregon. The teachers and staff have a genuine enthusiasm for the kids and their education. You could not get a better overall support system in any other school. They are up to date with technology, and the kids love to go to school. Students that go here are lucky, and I look forward to another awesome year...thank you North Lake!

" Location good depending on were you live, there is mountains surrounding Christmas Valley and if you live next to or on the hillside, the weather is very extreme, if you live down in the valley, it's mild."

"We live on the outskirts of Christmas Valley, OR. We purchased 20 acres over 9 years ago. Added a septic, power and a well as well as a 3 bed 2 bath home. The town has a small airport, a clinic and life flight or air lift, as well as a fire department. There is a one building public school with school buses and a Christian school too. We love the slower pace. Our local Chevron /store has more to offer than most gas station convienant stores. The antelope , deer, quail and jack rabitts as well as wild cotten tail can be seen daily. The call of the coyote is a nightly occurance. We have 4 seasons but winter is the longest. There are many places to visit and we are part of the OREGON OUTBACK."
