The welcoming atmosphere of this school is evident the minute you enter the colorful hallways! We have three children who have or who are currently attending East, and I cannot speak highly enough about the great staff and innovative programming at this elementary building. From the reading support programs to the community action food drive to the musical performances put on by the children, this is a school that shows it cares. The parent group is active here as well.

"Neighbors are very friendly. Most homes are very neat and tidy. Annual chicken bbq in the park. Splash park for kids. New Veterans Memorial and playground. "
