The school gets worse every year there football team decent but the food is bad the school is boring and got roaches

As a parent of three boys who have attended, or are currently attending, this school, I could not be more pleased with our experience at Cockrill Elementary School. The staff is consistently caring, supportive, and engaged with the children. It is a close-knit neighborhood school that has provided an environment that always feels safe and welcoming. It gives me the sense, as a parent, that I’m working alongside people who are also looking out for my kids. I’ve been impressed with how well my children have been prepared academically and socially for the transition to junior high. My kids have consistently tested well on the benchmark testing, and have done so with the support provided by their educators. Over the years, I’ve continued to see meaningful growth and positive developments in both my children and the school itself. It truly is a community-oriented school. We are grateful for the strong foundation Cockrill Elementary School has provided, and continues to provide, for our children.

How is it okay for a kid to come in and assault another student that doesn’t even belong in that classroom? On top of that have his girlfriend jump in the fight as well and no action is being taken or no response from the principal of the actions being taken. I’ve called the school only to be put on hold and after this happened I still didn’t receive a phone call nor did the staff let me enter the building. Something has to give what example are you setting for students that think it’s ok to assault and bully another student. Smh
