Admin will spend more time hiding your child’s weakness so they don’t have to be held accountable or give any intervention. They began to read my child’s tests outloud to him so he would get As and Bs and then used his inflated grades to deny him help (despite him being 2 years behind in reading). Of course they didn’t communicate to me that he was getting assistance on his tests. It was disgusting. Principal sits in her office all day and only responds to parents if you reach out to a board or council member. I was extremely disappointed with the entire admin, counselors and special education team. I know others in special ed who have had a similar experience. They put all the kids in GT classes to try and accelerate the scores but won’t help the ones behind.
