The front desk ladies are VERY rude. The way they treat the children is awful. I personally witnessed the lady at the front desk tell a child to sit on the floor and that he lost his chair privileges just because he got up out of his seat. He was not around anyone, nor bothering anyone. Everyone in the front office was talking, but the sending the child made a peep she yelled at him and told him to “keep his mouth shut”. When you call up there they blow you off and try to get you off the phone as fast as possible. The teachers are not any better. Over all i have yet to hear good things about this school. STAY AWAY!!

terrible. absolutely terrible. now, i’ve only experienced 6th grade in this school, but that’s because i literally had to drop out because this school was ruining my mental health and i couldn’t take it anymore. i experienced tons of harassment on a day to day basis, and when i told teachers, they did NOTHING. a kid i know would constantly pick on me and swear at me; when i told my teacher AND politely asked them to stop, she did nothing. it was incredibly disrespectful and is the reason why i felt the need to literally resort to giving up.the teachers at this school were literally allergic to making the education experience enjoyable, or atleast somewhat not dreadful. i was constantly overwhelmed with dealing with my poor mental health on top of constant schoolwork, which never made my experience any less stressful.parents, if you’re reading this, please do not consider taking your kid to this school unless you are more than sure that their mental health is perfect. otherwise, this will just make it worse.the only good part about this school from what i remember (i was dissociated the whole school year, i don’t remember much) is that the counselors were SO kind. they were understanding, they listened to what i had to say, and gave logical, helpful advice to my inquiries. they were patient, which i genuinely appreciate as someone who’s been constantly dismissed an unfortunate amount of times.thank you for tuning into my yap session!!! i know these words might sound as if blown out of proportion (as thirteen year olds usually do), but im really not exaggerating. that’s how bad some of my experiences have been, which is really unfortunate.

Amazing high school with truly amazing teachers! Having a student in AP or advanced classes, in sports and fine arts, we feel like family here. The programs they offer keep our student involved and wanting to do more! The counselors truly care about the students and the principal is present and in the know about their school! High school years are rough but Chisholm has been an amazing experience for our student.
