My son has gone to school here all 3 years. This has been the worst experience Ive ever had. From the thrashers who don’t care to the assistant principal that has no clue once so ever. And god for bid you need to take to the useless superintendent. I’ve call his office for 4 years and not once has he ever returned a phone call or email. The pay him way to much for nothing. If you like battling for everything you child needs this is the school.

Used to be a wonderful school with teachers and staff who were kind, inspired and passionate about educating and nurturing K-5 students. Under the current principal, things are very different. The entire culture of the school has changed. There is no effort in supporting students with positive and proactive reinforcement. The principal comes across cold and holds K-5 students to a standard they are not developmentally always able to achieve. The district is doing a disservice to our children by keeping that principal employed at RGS.

My child attended 9-12 here and graduated as the Valedictorian. With top 0.5% on SAT, was accepted into Northwestern University and is thriving there. Small public school with safety and education as priorities...never had to worry. My child never complained about her teachers nor anything about the school. AP courses were plenty and taught with quality/care.
