Beautiful streets lined with mature Sycamore trees and unique, well-constructed mid-century homes. Peter Burnett Middle School is just across East Hedding St. Within two blocks are: the County Civic Center, San Jose Police Station (there's only one in the whole city!), VTA Light Rail Station, Sherrif's Office, restaurants, HWY 280/101 Interchange (not close enough to be seen or heard, though), and the site where Cirque de Solei sets up every two years (they give all the residents in the area free tickets!). Very safe, clean, and family friendly neighborhood. Most of the houses and duplexes here were custome designed, so there is no cookie cutter feel to things. The streets have permit parking, which is great if you live here. My family has lived here for three generations!

There are a fair amount of homeless people in the area who break into whatever they can, including to shower in our private community. I feel unsafe walking after dark.
