6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a terrible experience. We are not allowed to sit with friends, and there is no recess at all, which is completely unnecessary because students need breaks to relax and focus. The rules are extremely strict and often unfair. For example, being one second late can get you detention, and even if you cannot do homework because something serious is happening in your life, like a family emergency, you still get punished. If you get in trouble even when it is not your fault, you are not allowed to speak or explain yourself. Some teachers are mean and unsupportive, and it feels like rules matter more than actually helping students learn. The environment is stressful, unfair, and unkind. I do not recommend this school to anyone.Student Review7mo ago4 Reviews - Edmund Hatch Bennett School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son graduated in 2024 and had a positive experience here. He was part of one of the CTE programs and this really helped him stay engaged with school and influenced his choice of college major. The CTE programs are great and open up additional opportunities for the students. We were happy with the teachers and course offerings overall.Parent Review6mo ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near 568 Plot Everett St.

"I feel like Taunton is essentially located. It's very easy to get in any direction you're going whether you're going to Rhode Island Boston the south shore 44 can take you all the way to Plymouth, which is what I do 140 in New Bedford 495 is right there there as well as Route 24 and they have public transit that runs so different plazas for people without cars so you can get around the city and pretty soon. The commuter will be here and that will open up a whole Newmarket for Taunton."

"First time Harrison St. area Taunton apartment renter as of 10.1.19 & quite pleased. Nearing Halloween & a town wide Scarecrow contest going on! Very cool! I’ve heard numerous reports of amazing Christmas celebrations, ‘In Honor of’ Memorial Day gatherings, etc. Also, everyone met to date exceptionally kind, courteous & polite with (their) greetings! Heavier trafficked locations even 🛑 to let you cross 🚸 safely! Think we’ll stay awhile! 🤷🏻♀️"

"There are many families in our neighborhood and the elementary school (Hopewell) is top-notch! Principal knows each student by name and is really welcoming of all new kids. Great country-type feel in your backyard, with city amenities and convenience. Close to parks, the library, YMCA. City does a great job with holiday events, such as downtown trick-or-treating, holiday lights display, summer fest. "
