I have two grandsons attending now. One is an acedemic senior. The other is a football-basketball all star junior. Next year another grandson will be a freshman and three years later a granddaughter. It's a wonderful school.

This school is not what it once was. Twenty or thirty years ago, it had a strong reputation for providing an excellent elementary education, especially in this area. Many teachers and administrators remained there for decades, and it was clear that they had a genuine passion for their work and a deep commitment to the students. About ten years ago, the school still seemed slightly above average, though some of the consistency and culture that once defined it had begun to change. Unfortunately, in recent years the decline has become much more noticeable. There now appears to be a constant turnover among staff, faculty, and administration, which makes it difficult to maintain stability and a strong school culture. While there are still a couple excellent teachers who clearly care about their students and do a great job, they seem to be the exception rather than the norm. Overall, the level of communication between teachers and parents has also declined significantly. What used to be consistent and helpful communication is now minimal. Another concern is the school's emphasis on student attendance while teacher absences appear to be frequent. Students are regularly reminded of the importance of being present, yet substitute teachers seem to be common in many classrooms. Consistency in the classroom is critical for young students, and this imbalance sends a mixed message. The lack of stability in staffing, inconsistent communication with parents, and frequent reliance on substitutes raise concerns about whether students are receiving the consistent environment they need.It has also been disappointing to see a strong focus on staff events and activities that are frequently shared on social media, while there have been very few events or special experiences for the students themselves this year. Schools should prioritize creating positive experiences and opportunities for the children they serve. It is frustrating to see how much the school has changed over time. Families in the community deserve the level of care, stability, and educational quality that this school once provided.
