Private schools experience without the private school fees.

From my experience as a student at Lisle Junior High School, it is an average school.To start, there are engaging activities for students, but it lacks the efficiency of prepping you for Highschool and College as this school gives minimal homework and the teachers here overexaggerate on how Highschool and College run, adding pressure that seems unnecessary or avoidable, but not too bad as they do effectively answer questions on how Highschool or College could go.Next, the food is good, with food that could get you through the rest of the day, and maybe a good snack or two to enjoy if you're still hungry.Then the bathrooms. These bathrooms can be quite questionable as I've seen doors that don't function properly with non-working locks or the occasional missing door on a stall, but the bathrooms are what they're supposed to be.Lastly, the peers, they are unpredictable, they can be nice, but when they're mean they barely get any punishments, so this proves the lack of discipline this school has, lowering my overall ratingSo, to conclude, Lisle Junior High School is average, so I would recommend it, but it does have quite a bit of noticeable flaws.

Our experience at this school has been deeply disappointing. While there are several exceptional teachers here who genuinely care about students and go above and beyond, that level of professionalism and dedication is not consistent throughout the building.Too many staff members seem unwilling to provide meaningful support for students who learn, behave, or process differently than the standard mold. Families of neurodivergent children, in particular, may find themselves advocating far more than they should have to in a school setting.Even more troubling is the administration’s handling of bullying, behavioral concerns, and student safety issues. Rather than addressing problems directly and transparently, there seems to be a pattern of minimizing incidents, deflecting responsibility, and placing blame on the very students affected. That kind of leadership creates an unhealthy culture and sends the wrong message to both students and staff.We came to this district with high expectations and genuine optimism. Unfortunately, our experience has been marked by frustration, lack of accountability, and disappointment. We sincerely hope conditions improve, because every child deserves a school environment where they feel supported, protected, and understood.
