"I live in Westchester since 2012 is a nice neighborhood, love my neighbors and the activities around ! "
  • Trulia User
"Low car traffic. Lots of places to walk. Fox Hills park nearby. A little dark and quiet at night but very safe. "
  • Trulia User
"My commute is very easy to Santa Monica. The area has easy access to freeways via the 90 on-ramp and 405 to the 10. The neighborhood is easy to access for others as well via buses that run regularly."
  • Theonlycaroline
"Such a hidden gem in West LA! You leave a commercial area (the mall and business park) and suddenly you're in a private neighborhood at the top of a hill that's super walkable, green, and community-oriented. It's a very dog-friendly and family-friendly neighborhood, too: we have "Santa" visit each complex every December. Plus, the park has been a savior during the pandemic, everyone goes there to work out at the basketball courts, tennis courts, playground, and running/walking paths - I've ever seen some outdoor workout classes and personal trainers take up there. It's perfect for someone who wants or needs to live in LA but doesn't want to feel like they're living in LA."
  • Alexis D.
"Great area to live in! I feel safe and take walks everyday. There is also a park which is great for kids "
  • Brainsbeautybank
"This is family oriented place i think it’s important not try to Monitor everyone moves. Always be polite "
  • Trisha
"Very dog friendly area. Poop bags and trash cans are visible within our apartment complex. I see many dogs on leash but I have not seen a dog park."
  • Rickjnorton
"I have been living in this for almost 10 years and it still feels like a tight community that I have worries about walking in the evening."
  • Violet K.
"Fox Hills is in the middle of everything except crime. Easy commute to Mid Wilshire, Downtown, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice, South Bay and LOVE how easy and hassle free to LAX. "
  • Chris
"This area has great restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, public transport & easy access to everywhere"
  • odette
"Location is very convenient but quiet. Easy access to the 90, 405, and 10 fwy. Minutes to LAX. Plenty of side streets to take to get to fun neighboring cities such as Playa Vista, Playa del Rey, Westchester, and Marina del Rey. Can get to the beach fast by car. "
  • Linda S.
"It’s generally safe and has a great park for kids. A lot of people walk their dogs and converse with friends on the sidewalks"
  • Trulia User
"People not picking up after their dogs. Otherwise it’s. Very nice neighborhood and it’s dog friendly."
  • Cathyarnette
"My neighborhood is centrally located to major freeways, LAX, and several beaches. Multicultural melting pot!"
  • Ben
"Fox Hills is an awesome little Island of quiet on the westside. It’s a planned community from the late 60’s. Condos built around a large park (1/2 mile diameter) with no cut through traffic. Google is building its socal HQ 5 minutes away. The only downside is that we’re just a bit too far from shopping and entertainment to walk. "
  • Eddie H.
"The neighborhood is very family friendly. There are parks and a shopping mall close by. The area is also pretty quiet pretty much all the time."
  • rb_lowe
"Ladera is the best....gateway to Silicon beach. mid century modern homes. Carla Lowe www.carlaandray.com are THE best realtors in the area"
  • Monet2439
"I work, and go to school here. It is mostly residential, high end homes. Extremely safe, police are always in the area. Public transportation has really increased and so convenient. Very family oriented, but loads of date night places! "
