5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy oldest son attended Green Sea Floyd’s for most of his school career so far but one year we made a move and had to make a change and wanted to give loris a shot mind you my son has always been an honor student perfect grades never had any issues with people talking bad to him or bullying him well his first week in loris we had issues with him getting on his bus seems like the teachers never wanted to direct him where to go even after asking multiple times he missed his bus from teachers failing to help now like I said he was an honor roll student through all of green sea well we get first report cards he’s failing almost everything except science he loves science well come to find out science was the only class where he wasn’t being picked on so he felt he could be himself in science so he excelled like crazy after months of complaining to the school about the issue they finally catch one of the kids in the act of bullying him and pretty much did nothing the boy got a slap on the wrist for shoving my son and talking about how he dressed and acted cause he likes school we also signed him up for the football and baseball leagues their he loved playing baseball till he got on the team their the coach’s take a little kids baseball game way to serious and make the kids feel bad to the point of crying I get you got to be tough sometimes but every game and practice I find it crazy a school that claims to be so family oriented is so far from it we gave it maybe another month and he was pulled and green sea being the amazing school they are allowed our son to return and completely changed all his grades his attitude his happiness was back we are going to miss green sea school and loris can shove itParent Review1y ago - Loris High School
