Greenwood Intermediate. The leadership of this school is the reason I *have to support school choice despite the fact that it may harm public, especially rural school districts and students. I've been involved in facets of public education from board member on down; I am a strong supporter of janitors to administration, and I can confidently say that anyone who is demeaning to any student and parent due to their own incorrect assumptions of a purely academic situation - complicated by a refusal to acknowledge they might have read aforementioned issue incorrectly - should not hold any leadership position. I'm appalled and embarrassed as I was the one who encouraged these parents to send their kids to the local school system. For the sake of transparency, my kids are enrolled in an exceptionally high-performing district (in another state entirely) and I can confidently say that the child (and siblings) in question are ahead of their publicly schooled peers.
