My daughter has been attending Marr Cook for four years now. She started off in their full day preschool program. My middle daughter is currently enrolled in their preschool program as well. We have had mostly good experiences with this school. My daughter loves all of the teachers that she has had. The teachers do a good job answering my questions and concerns and I feel that many have gone above and beyond for us. The principal is phenomenal! He is always happy, positive and interacting with the students. There’s s great sense of community and we take care of our own here in Goshen. I do have some concerns with a few staff members being rude but as long as my children are happy, safe and learning...I don’t see that as a huge issue. Overall I love the school and am glad we moved out here.

This school needs improvement on all levels beginning with some diversity in the staff and faculty. The whole school district could use a splash of the rainbow. Teachers pretending they like black music and they are 25% black does not justify diversity. This school has a mixture of cultural backgrounds. I believe it is important for students to see an image of themselves in a teaching or administrative position. Please investigate the issue. I would like to know if no one is applying, they are not qualified, or the applications are being thrown out? Please look into this....

My son is in the gifted program at Spaulding and is on an IEP and the staff have always been very supportive and helpful. The communication with teachers is excellent and I feel like he is truly cared for. If I've ever had a concern or question, the teachers and staff have gotten back to me quickly and worked with me. The level of education my son has received from Goshen schools has been amazing for such a small school district.

The Goshen Local School system, especially the middle school, is basically a joke. Teachers don’t communicate. The amount of bullying the goes unchecked is bizarre. I’ve heard of children getting spit on, kids making fun of disabled children in wheelchairs chairs and special needs children being told to kill themselves AND being given instructions on how to do so. Why these awful children aren’t being expelled is beyond me. It’s very clear the administration does not care. Save yourself the trouble and find another school.
