4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former student of Rushmore Elementary (in the past decade) I sincerely believe this school would not be a good choice to send your children to. When I was there we had 4 principles in 6 years, constant understaffment due to teachers quitting, and (from my experience going there during COVID) extremely lazy and uncaring teachers. Also in the past 2 years my autistic sibling was sent to that school (for under a year) and she immediately started acting meaner and more aggressive due to the other students in the room with her (there were less than 5 students in that room and 3 or more teachers at a time). After a little under a year my parents took her out of that school and sent her to another Huber school in the meantime (Charles Huber) and we have recently come to find out Rushmore hasn't had a certified special needs instructor in over 2 YEARS. This just goes to show how little Rushmore actually tries to save money and provide needed services for there student's. This is only instance of MANY that I have witnessed not just only Rushmore but many other Huber Schools being managed poorly and affecting the students learning and services.
