"Exeter is quiet and safe. The trees on our street are very mature and large. The homes are older but well cared for and close to a nice public golf course. There are schools close by and many people walking with families and dogs. It’s really lovely. "
  • Jrise
"Exeter is quaint and quiet. The downtown is thriving with a variety of restaurants. Tourists come for the dining and the murals, and also because it’s on the way to Sequoia National Park. Cool, clean little town with friendly people. "
  • Hayliechavira
"I’ve lived here my whole life and they have always been a quite part of town and great for taking evening stroll but every town has unsafe people in it."
  • Reann S.
"Cars are always speeding down this busy street and this is extremely dangerous for Animals and Children."
  • Lvenegas
"One of the best small communities to live in. My wife and I had been wanting to move here for years and finally were able to make it happen. Extremely happy here. "
  • Irene G.

  • Priscilla P. C.
"people walk the road all the time. Gated community which keep us safe. Friendly and quiet neighborhood,"
  • Robertmayo
"Great neighborhoods. A small bit of Americana exists still in America. Solid schools, great restaurants."
  • Hmcgirr
"I love the character of the buildings, and that most people take good care of their homes and yards. The neighbors look out for one another. This is a good neighborhood for families. "
  • Santos V.
"It’s a nice small town where everyone knows everyone. A lot of law enforcement, very quick response time, schools are very close by."
  • Cynthia K.
"Exeter is the Gateway to the Sequoias! You are close to the mountains, to lake Kaweah for fishing and boating, and close to shopping, schools and churches!"
  • Hafnercal
"Exeter is an awesome place for those winding down in life and looking for a quiet safe place to live. If you are looking for a racy lifestyle you will be disappointed, however, if you are looking for a great place to retire, or to start retiring, this is a good choice. It is quiet, the neighborhoods are safe, and the people care about the community. The coast is 2 hours away as well as wineries, the mountains are within 40 minutes. The only drawback is the college in Visalia is not quite as develped as it should or could be. It would be nice if they had a broader selection of classes for adults, art, cooking, writing, languages etc....then it would be awsome!"
