4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school from 1-5th grade in 2010-2014/2015 and I remember that there was a lot of bullying when I was there. I was bullied myself and nothing was ever done. They never payed any attention when ever there was and issue with the students. I'm 15 now and it's safe to say I would of rathered to have gone to a different school. I wouldn't recommend P.S. 205.Other Review5y ago3 Reviews - Belmont Preparatory High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a parent who also works for the NYDoE. I wanted my son here because this is supposed to be one of the top five high schools in the Bronx. However, the unwritten policy of this school is ZERO communication with parents. I made a few calls during the Summer, but I never got a living human being to respond. I left messages, nobody ever called me back. My son turned in the blue card with the new address, but I still haven't received the progress report. They might have sent it to the old address. I have called the school to speak with one of the counselor, but what I get is the answering machine. I called the office to verify the change of address, a woman transferred my call, then somebody hung up on me.The school might be good, but this LACK OF COMMUNICATION IS UNACCEPTABLE. I mentioned it to one safety officer, and he said that this was a problem with BELMONT.I have to get my daughter out of this place.Parent Review6y ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near 558 E 191st St #A.

"I don't live in this area myself, but my aunt has lived there for over 30 years and I visit her frequently, so I know quite a bit about the area. There are a lot of families and a few parks for kids, pets and space to throw outdoor parties. The parks are typically clean and the area is pretty quiet. there's many stores and places to buy any necessities. Overall a great place to live and raise a family. "

"Parents should know that their children are entitled to good schools. The city has money. All they need to know is to apply. Find bilingual school counselors. Otherwise, kids can be misguided & lost to illicit drugs or alcohol. Parents should stay in focus mode."

"2406 Webster Ave is horrible. They rent out the backyard for parties that go on weekdays and weeknights til 5am or 6am. They have complete disregard to the people who live here. Believe it or not, there are still some decent people who get up early to go to work. "
