3 of my children are enrolled at Valley Grove Elementary. My 2 oldest have performed beautifully on their PSSAs and they are continuously challenged by teachers who recognize their abilities and encourage them to excell. My younger child was in kindergarten this past year and his teacher brought out an amazing confidence in him. I have been overall impressed by the staff and their willingness to work with me and my children.

"I absolutely love franklin, I’ve been here my entire life. I would hate to move. You’ve got everything just a couple blocks away and the blocks are small. The schools are great. The city is beautiful and the events are great. "

"I’ve lived in franklin my entire basically, the playgrounds are clean, the neighbors are friendly. Animals of all breeds are welcomed. Crime is taken care of properly and secretly. Kids are always safe. "

"6 years of living in this neighborhood. the area is very nice. my only complaint is my neighbors give small dogs that they let outside and bark constantly throughout the day. the borough doesn't do anything about it. other neigh ors also complain about the same issue."

"Franklin is a great small town with surprising good restaurants and decent shopping here and nearby. Very friendly town, and wonderful schools. 1,5 hour drive from Pittsburgh, and close to Ohio's major shopping malls, if that's what you like."

"this is a so so area. many many forclosures due to bad mortgages and no one caring. Older people are friendly, lots and lots of kids on drugs and it is so sad. Theres no recreation for the kids and they all turn to crime and drugs. Wouldnt suggest this to families."
