"City center is fun , I like how it’s nicer than other parts in Volusia we have kids playing and family’s . Just seems a bit more at home I would say all around . I highly recommend the schools too . All around it is just beautiful versus on beach side it’s hit and miss . There’s some two story homes as well and lakes and park . I really enjoy it here ! "

"Friendly, thoughtful neighbors who take pride in their property. Everyone looks out for one another and care about their neighbors. Very quiet, but everyone is pretty active. More young families with kids moving in, insuring the neighborhood remains viable.."

"I have lived in Port Orange, Florida for a few months shy of "30"years. I lived in Ormond Beach for only 3 months and it would have been less, but I had to save $, for our move. The schools were horrible. P.O. IS THE BEST CITY IN VOLUSIA TO RAISE A FAMILY & ALL OF THE SCHOOLS ARE RATED NATIONALLY A 5!!!"

"It’s a nice quiet place here in port Orange it’s getting a little more crowded but much safer than Daytona and still around everything that you would need "

"It’s a nice little city. It’s awesome being so close to the beach, stay away from holly hill. There aren’t many jobs but you’ll just have to drive to Orlando, or somewhere in between. The area I live in is very quiet and a lot of the neighborhoods in port orange are. "
