It still has that small-town feel where the whole town gets together for holidays like 4th of July etc, the police will stop and pet your dog, the few restaurants/bars we have are quaint and local owned, there's a hoppin' VFW, and there is little after-hours noise disruption. Many perks of small town living enjoyed from the very center of the metroplex. 30 minutes or less from all points. Denton, Frisco, Lewisville, Little Elm, etc, etc. Only thing is that it's SUCH an old school type small town that they still smoke in the bars here."
