Two Bedroom, FURNISHED second floor apartment for rent in Central Islip on Connetquot State Park Preserve on FEBRUARY 1, 2023.

Quiet, rustic, dark with no commercial backlight. Many windows with vertical blinds on each.

Both bedrooms are carpeted and have additional sleeping and / or storage lofts and closet space in each bedroom.

There are cedar ceilings and ceiling fans throughout.

There is a 10' foot x 14' foot wood deck, 17 steps to the ground (10 feet high) with an awning, deck umbrella and bistro table and chairs. (This is NOT a handicapped accessible unit). This is not a safe environment for children. It is great for working /commuting people. This is gleaned from past tenants.

Bathroom with a shower stall, sink, toilet, medicine cabinet, mirrors, shelves, cabinets and washing machine and dryer.

Carpeted Living Room with shelves, sofa, coffee table, end table, wine and cheese curio breakfront, and flat screen TV.

Eat in Kitchen with lots of cabinets and shelf space, pantry, refrigerator, gas oven and stove, table and chairs, dishes, pots, cutlery, flatware, cups, glasses, bowls and air conditioner.

Appliances: Washing machine, clothes dryer, refrigerator, two air conditioners, gas stove and oven, vacuum cleaner, toaster oven, microwave, flat screen TV, coffee maker, wine and cheese refrigerator.

Smoke detectors installed throughout.

Forced hot air ducted heat with thermostat.

Designated parking on premises 120' feet from the apartment.

Near trains, buses, cabs, the L.I.E., highways, shopping, Target, Walmart, hospital, gas, restaurants, etc.

No Real Estate Agents, No Brokers or Agencies.
No smoking, no pets, no drug use, no hunting, no fireworks, no candles, no incense burning.
No loud noise, no parties, no large gatherings of people for any reason (unless permitted by Landlord).

Any changes or options can be discussed when we meet and changed or modified at the Landlord's discretion.

Be advised that there are horses, geese, chickens, roosters, ducks, cats and dogs on my two-acre property. The neighborhood is filled with horses and similar animals. It is a farm-like home and farm-like neighborhood. If you are afraid of these this is not the place for you.

Be advised that there are raccoons, possums, hawks, turkey, deer and all manner of wildlife here as well. We are on a Wildlife Preserve and the flora and fauna reflect this. Some of these creatures are not beyond visiting the deck, which will be discouraged. They are not pets.

Be advised that there are family tenants in the apartment below this unit on the first floor. (Daughter, husband, granddaughter). They abide by the same rules.

Occupancy by tenants only. No extended family or friends or visitors overnight without landlords permission. Noise must be kept to a minimum and tenants must respect all governmental laws as well as the rules made by the Landlord in the lease. This is my home, my family lives here, and you must respect that.

Tenants must carry renter's insurance and sign a New York State lease.

$3,300.00 cash or certified check as security before moving in.
$2,300.00 cash or certified check for first month's rent, and each month thereafter promptly on the 1st of the month.

Tenant pays these utilities in their name: Electric (PSEG), cable, internet, telephones.

Oil heat, water and propane will be paid by the landlord and are included in the monthly rent.
