3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been attending this school for 5 years and since I have been here, the school has made a lot of improvements. The band especially. Our extra curricular activities are very family-like and make it much easier to find friends and teachers to get along with. Teachers are very open and friendly, making it easier to study and work with them. They are also willing to make adjustments based on the overall participation and interest of the students. We have programs such as Dater Cares which allows students to volunteer and help their community. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAt Hughes stem high school, All the kids are extremely depressed at this school. Half of the teachers do not care about the students. They don't even really teach they just give them something and expect them to know it. I really do not feel like my kid is learning or achieving anything in this school. The principal accepted to many kids and now some of the other kids cannot go to the pathway they wanted to go too. The yonder pouches are outrageous. I need to contact my kid sometimes and I cannot contact them because of the pouches, and I do not want the office to know my personal information. A lot of the kids steal, and someone stole my kids Bus card, Headphones, and Binder. My kid told me that they are even banned from the target because they stole over 10k worth of stuff. The school is dirty it has roaches and rats, I see dirt and dust everywhere, I feel as if my child is not safe here.Parent Review4mo ago

"Public library is a nice place for families to go, summer brings chaos, but Delhi is close and they have a nice park. Parks in rapid run have summer events incline district you can see the fire works"

"Been here 6 yrs. Our street is very diverse. Neighbors say Hi & that's about it. Street is somewhat safe but within blocks, nor safe to walk alone. Warsaw Ave is filled with drug addicts, prostitution and Homeless that hang outside businesses & always ask for money. Makes me uncomfortable. "

"Don't know of any. Been here 7 yrs & I keep to myself. Area stores riddled with drugs, homeless & prostitution. I live in nicer area of East Price Hill. I've seen the progress trying to be made but until they do something about area 2 blocks away, nothing will change. Pretty bad when Police Dept moves from area. I would never walk to grocery store. Not safe. "

"Too much crime. The police are crooks and don’t care. They rather arrest someone for jaywalking than to bust the drug dealer selling to little kids. Parents don’t control their kids, well they don’t care period. I’d never recommend this neighborhoods anything close to it. "

"The commute to downtown or Kentucky is great. I work downtown and it only takes me 10-12 minutes depending on traffic. Kentucky is about the same. Newport on the levee is about the same. "

"Too many teenagers walk around here and curse and lots of deep holes on the streets here, so let's say you have a baby chilling in the car seat they will wake up on every steep bump on the road. "

"There are several community events such as music in the woods, herbal identification walks, Open mic night at the local pub every Thursday live music there on Saturday and Friday. There is also a community greenhouse and henhouse. More than anything else is a strong sense of community I have found here. People are generous and caring,If someone needs help there is never a shortage of volunteers and your neighbors actually talk to you! What a trip!"

"Most owners clean up after their dogs. Watch out for some dogs that might have gotten out. It doesn’t happen too often and everything is fine as long as you have your dog on a leash. "
