As parents, we value empathy, accountability, and collaboration, especially when concerns are raised. Unfortunately, our experience with the principal did not reflect those values. During our meeting, communication felt defensive and lacked compassion, and there was no acknowledgment of the impact this situation had on our family or an apology offered.Other staff members were professional and supportive, and some attempted to redirect the conversation. However, the principal’s approach was never meaningfully addressed or challenged, and while a district representative was present, additional advocacy would have been helpful.Although a possible resolution is now underway, this experience has caused us to lose trust in the school’s leadership. As a result, we are carefully considering alternative school options for the upcoming year.

This is where good ideas go to die. The books are outdated, students are tested on curriculum that is not in their old, outdated textbooks. FYI Google chrome books have been given to each student in Escambia county for 8 years now, a chrome book cost less than a text book.

Good school in the area. Everyone is kind and respectful.

They withheld student schedules that still owed lunch money. Meanwhile, there’s plenty of schools in the area that get free lunch for all of their student students.. my tax dollars goes to help support these schools and for them to deny students their schedule is bull .
