    "We have lived in the Heritage Heights neighborhood since 1997. It's a nice area to raise kids - quiet, mostly safe, with 2 excellent parks and a lovely, tranquil nature preserve. The public transit service leaves a bit to be desired; only two bus lines run through it (on opposite sides of the neighborhood) and during non-rush hours, they run only once per hour. The neighborhood per se is strictly residential but just beyond there are a couple of small shopping areas, a Walgreens, a Subway, a McDonald's, and a few mom-and-pop eateries. There is no nightlife. The public elementary school is okay but not excellent; the related middle and high schools are several miles away and again merely okay. Relative to other neighborhoods with similar housing stock this neighborhood is fairly affordable. "
