      "only 1.5 hours from denver, and you would think you were in another world. total peace and relaxation on this ranch in the middle of the pike national forest. fish for trout, take your horse or atv out for hours and hours and not see a soul or just sit on the deck and read a book while listening to the tarryall creek rush by. if you do want to venture out, breckenridge is 1 hour up the mountain, the town of evergreen is 1 hour down. fairplay is the closest for shopping and services at 1/2 hour up the hill. the borden brothers came from new york back in 1865 and homesteading this land. was a bison ranch for the last 10 years and the owners still have bison on the neigboring ranch that they still own.
