I am a parent to 3 Owego district students (recent grad and present students). Our family's experience with the schools has been mostly positive. My two highly self-motivated children thrived, my other not so much motivated student could have benefited from more outside support but that is also partially on him. The school has an amazing music program. It also offers many opportunities to get hands on experience with different career fields, if the students want to take advantage of it. It's a small enough school that you can get to know many students, families, teachers, but not to so small that you don't have academic , career and sports opportunities to pursue. For a public school, I am pleased with it overall.

The school should be more faster on preventing bullying and allowing other kids to bully each other and take action on parents who are teaching their kids to do stuff like such and continue to harass them even outside of the school as children like this learn from parental influence and other external influences children deserve to be respected learning better and going to school more happier rather worried about being bullied parents should also be able to communicate with school without worrying of discrimination or mean tones and be able to participate without any worry overall the school is a very great School and my kid loves the school but there's a certain name and a kid that needs to leave my child alone bullying especially in elementary can grow wider and continue into other grades and we cannot allow that school is very important to childs life
