It's a failing school, and remain a failing school until the teachers and administrators take a proactive, not reactive approach to learning and discipline in the school, YECA and Cross Hill respectively. The teachers take an unusual amount of time to answer a simple email, communication is very poor, work is based on modules, with no explanation of what and why certain assignments are being administered. YPS and the state should close the school and replenish the faculty to teachers who genuinely what to see children succeed.

The whole 9 th grade I got bullied from girls and boys. My mother would attend school meetings report the incidents, and no one would do anything at all. The assistant principal was also against me and would not greet me in the hallway she would greet the kids who I had issues with. I also got jumped one day I reported it to the principal and assistant principal, and they took the student in the office the next day she was doing tix toc with security guard. Nothing was ever done. The guidance counselor DeJesus told me I was going to summer school just to worry me and made me sad. When my mother approached her, she stated that she never informed me this information. Everyone was against me and the facility staff as well. It was to the points where the principal told my stepfather there's something I'm doing to the students that making then treat me the way they were. I will be suing the school soon for emotional l trauma and lack of efforts to stop the bullying. Do not send your child to this school.

School 22 has been a great experience for both my child and our family. The level of student and parent engagement is truly outstanding—they make a real effort to involve families and create a strong sense of community.Academically, I’ve seen such meaningful growth in my child. Her grades have improved, and her progress in ELA has been especially impressive. It’s clear that the teachers are dedicated, supportive, and know how to meet students where they are while helping them grow.I’m very grateful for the positive environment and the commitment this school shows to both learning and family involvement. Highly recommend!
