I am so grateful for the care this school showed my four children. The RSP team was especially supportive of my oldest son, always going above and beyond to meet his IEP goals. It means so much that his teachers still ask about him today. Thank you for being such dedicated and genuinely caring educators! My three youngest children also had great experiences here. The staff is professional, kind, and always supportive. I’m so thankful for their dedication and know the school will keep excelling because they truly care about every child. Thank you!

This school is extremely unethical. This school picks and chooses their favorites and they are extremely biased to some students. The amount of racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia that is thrown around is sad and quite ridiculous. They do not make their students safety their number one priority when it should be. There are students constantly being violent, bullying, and are throwing around discriminating slurs. The academics are bad as well as they have unessesary college classes that won't benefit their students in the future. They make their lgbtq students feel unprotected. They make their poc students feel like outcasts. They don't try to teach their students ethical and respectable manners. They don't take accountability for how the awful school is. They waste their money on athletes who don't even make to champions, instead of getting better food for them. They don't care about their students mental health nor their emotional well-being. Ever since I left, I suddenly got better mentally, ha! -A former student of Avenal high School.

I would rate my experience at this school a 0/10 because lack of actual attention that this school gives to the students. I would only talk positively about 5 teachers at this entire school.
