8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageChapman’s Retreat Elementary School is an excellent school. When my daughter started here, she did not know how to read or write words, and within just a few months we saw a remarkable improvement—she is now reading and writing confidently. The teachers are very supportive and truly focused on each child’s growth. The math curriculum is strong, and the school does a wonderful job encouraging social engagement and overall development. My daughter enjoys going to school every day, which says a lot.I highly recommend Chapman’s Retreat Elementary School to any parent looking for a nurturing and effective learning environment for their child.Parent Review3mo ago18 Reviews - Spring Station Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall this is not a bad school, but it is in one of the worst districts, with the worst leadership you could ever come across. This district has cut a program that supports struggling students and families experiencing hardship by 85%. A program that is only 0.00% percent of the district's budget. The funds were instead diverted to cover dental plans for teachers, the district would otherwise have to cover from the district general funds. It is absolutely shameful.Parent Review1mo ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 524 Wilkerson Pl.

"The kids here are a bit more free range than some parents may be at ease with. The area is generally safe though."

"Spring Hill is a beautiful place to live and raise a family. It’s about 30 minutes south of Nashville. The people are down to earth and overall friendly. The seasons are neat: wildflowers cover the hills in the Spring, fireflies look like magic dancing in the grass in the Summer, the fall leaves and country pumpkin patches nearby make Fall wonderful, and Winter is, well, grey and wet. They completely shut everything down if it snows a couple inches. Winter isn’t my favorite, but it makes you really appreciate the Spring. There are also rivers and waterfalls that you can get to relatively easily, as well as some great shopping in nearby Franklin. There’s live music with really good musicians in so many restaurants. "

"Abysmal! Getting out of town is like playing escape from Alcatraz some days. I have to leave by 6:15 am in order to miss traffic. Driving home is sometimes 2 hours."

"Great place to raise kids especially in neighborhoods and subdivisions that are already well established with children. HOA in this area sucks pretty badly with what they actually do which isn’t much at all. Lots of places to shop and have a nice dinner though. "

"There are a lot of rentals in my neighborhood and none of the houses have fenced in back yards. In order for your dog to get exercise (off a leash) you have to go to the dog park. "

"Great area for families with kids. Friendly people and safer than most areas. The area is growing very quickly and houses are going up left and right. New schools have been built to accommodate the growth and the streets are being widened to help with traffic. The area is also very clean. We are starting to get sidewalks in most areas along the main road, hopefully this trend continues! We have loved Spring Hill and have live here for over 8 years."

"It’s one of the few neighborhoods in Spring Hill that doesn’t have cut-through or heavy traffic because it’s on a “dead end” where the field still separates the neighborhood from the main roads. So it’s quiet although many people live here. It feels very safe. "
