We are going on our 2nd year at evergreen.They have a serious bullying problem every week if not daily my little girl is bullied. Not just words she's come home bloody. No by girls . By Boys. I was bullied as a child I will be damned if let it happen 3 years earlier than it happened to me to my daughter. It breaks my heart.She has been pushed in the face pushed down in the lunch area and at recess . Bullies that are allowed to continue create elementary school shooters. Have we not had enough of kids killing kids and teachers? Whats it going to take? Ive seen countless programs pupblic out cry from parents to presidents . The only way to stop it is to catch it and punish them take away ounch room privilages take away recess privileges. Do something . They have to stop it and catch it and have better punishments.Do I have to home school or pull my child out of lunch and recess? Is this the way or should the responsible adults be punished? Next time she's bloody I'm calling the police filing assult charges and charges of neglect on the teachers who were responsible for keeping the children safe.

I went here in the 90's for 9th and 10th grade and grew up here. It's surprising graduates of the Ranch are even literate. I took my proficiency exam at 16 and somehow passed. When I got to college I had to start at the lowest level math and english classes available. We were rebels, but the classrooms, the kids ran them. I was usually way smarter than most kids but no teacher pushed me to excel and I had to push myself after I graduated with my proficiency diploma. I think the problem is a combo of teachers that aren't really equipped or interested in guiding the kids towards success, and probably to some extent a lack of parental involvement. You can see from the test scores it's just barely an average school. I'm a parent now and my spouse have I have worked hard and always prioritized living in good public school districts for our kids. Mine are in high school now and they are at a 10/10 school. I see the difference at every level, from teacher involvement, parent involvement, the coursework, homework load, expectations of students. We had none of that. Many of us still managed to be reasonably successful adults though.

I was in this program for all 3 years and had struggled with many mental illnesses throughout it. The programs teachers ignored me asking for helping and said I was making it up in order to not do work. Being told I was lazy due to something I couldn't help was very damaging. Many other students have trauma from the program and regret joining. The work load was too much and the math teacher didn't teach us for 2 years.
