4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school district has several opportunities for preformance improvement. Transportation is terrible, administration does little to nothing to help parents who actually care about the success of their students as Mr. Haugh stated he's not over Transportation however Transportation is effecting student grades. They show little to no concern for students who actually want to succeed.Parent Review10mo ago14 Reviews - Red Oak Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a 7th grade student who has been in this school for 2 years, ROMS definitely has a lot of teachers that are either not very good, or are literally the most phenomenal people you will ever meet (Mrs Gentry, Mr Terry, Mrs Jackson, Mrs Samuels just to name a few of the good ones and I'm not naming the bad ones just in case the school can track my name on this. ) that view the kids here more as friends than just people that they're required to teach simply because they're paid to do so. The counselours here are really nice and actually give you advice instead of just saying breath in and breath out as if we haven't been doing that 24/7 our entire freaking life. So shout out to Mrs Wells and Mrs Barnes for making my school year a bit more manageable since I'm very bad at turning things in on time and other things like that. For a review on how they treat people in special education, I personally would not know since I don't have any siblings with disabilities. But when I do see them at the lunch table, they usually smile and wave at me and I smile and wave back and they overall seem pretty happy so I think that they're doing well. Unfortunately, ROMS is a type of school that does have some small problem with students getting into fights at least once a week. But honestly, considering the amount of people in this school, that isn't too bad honestly. I'd say that your average middle school probably has more fights than this one. If you do have issues with things that are happening in the school, there are occasional parent teacher conferences where you talk with the staff and discuss any issues that you might have. I hope this review as a student was at least a bit helpful to y'all.Student Review1y ago12 Reviews - Wooden Elementary School

"It's awesome neighborhood. We have been here 2 1/2yrs and plan to stay for a very long time. The mid-century modern homes from the 1950 and super large trees make it very special. Oh and our two neighborhood parks and lake are sweet. "
