About this House

One of the most spectacular homes downtown is now available. This masterpiece from the best period in American Architecture will not disappoint history buffs or anyone who appreciates craftsmanship. This home simply cannot be recreated with the attention to detail that was put into its construction. The stone exterior is in great shape as are the oak hardwood floors and lathe and plaster walls with coped ceilings. The living room is very cozy with large windows and a custom wood buring fireplace with detailed wood trim. The home has a brand new copper penny colored steel roof that cost ($29,000) A time period brand new permitted bathroom has been added. There is also a new wrought iron fence out front as well as two gates that have been added with block walls making it a very secure property. One of the wrought iron gates is automatic and has two openers and a keypad to plug in code. 

The basement has a single bay door but room for 2 cars. There is also a solid poured storage room with a heavy door that locks making it a great gun/trophy room. There is another room in the basement and multiple storage areas.

    "I lived out of city limits for 6 years. Kingman was once a little town with Stockton Hill Road once being two lanes and all dirt. In coming back now after a 3 year absence, I can't say I am much impressed. The drug problem is still widespread, Birdland looks worse than ever, and houses are being built as fast and as close together as possible. But where are good paying jobs? Where are cultural experiences? Where is diversity? Where is industry and city planning? Kingman has potential, but the sudden influx of those fleeing California shows the town is growing out, not up. Kingman needs long range goals to retain its new residents and attract others. I hope the next time I visit for a sustained period of time that I feel better about this town. "
