About this House

One of the most spectacular homes downtown is now available. This masterpiece from the best period in American Architecture will not disappoint history buffs or anyone who appreciates craftsmanship. This home simply cannot be recreated with the attention to detail that was put into its construction. The stone exterior is in great shape as are the oak hardwood floors and lathe and plaster walls with coped ceilings. The living room is very cozy with large windows and a custom wood buring fireplace with detailed wood trim. The home has a brand new copper penny colored steel roof that cost ($29,000) A time period brand new permitted bathroom has been added. There is also a new wrought iron fence out front as well as two gates that have been added with block walls making it a very secure property. One of the wrought iron gates is automatic and has two openers and a keypad to plug in code.

The basement has a single bay door but room for 2 cars. There is also a solid poured storage room with a heavy door that locks making it a great gun/trophy room. There is another room in the basement and multiple storage areas.

There are lots of fruit trees planted as well as gardens with more room for additional gardens. The views from the property and the front porch are stunning. The back patio has flagstone and multiple rock retaining walls creating beautiful garden areas.

This home is within walking distance to all the shopping and amenities that downtown Kingman has to offer including two very popular microbreweries. The Rickety Cricket and Black Bridge Brewerey as well as the Sportsmans Club and Floyds BBQ will give you plenty to see and do downtown. The shopping includeds upscale antique  and botique shops as well.

"There are dirt hills to take your dogs to play in, they can dig, chase things. There are also dog parks within a 5-10 minute drive. "
  • Hkunz93308
"It’s lower income and not everyone can clean up their yards. There are several small businesses sprinkled around the neighborhood. We’ve been here five years and it’s been pretty peaceful."
  • Veronikajoleedunbar
"Just visited the area. I would like visit again in the near future. Thank you. Have a great day!!!!!"
  • Hkunz93308
"There’s a huge “hotrod” crowd, not just the ones in the magazine, but cars that people have kept alive by the residents. Mild climate relative to Phoenix and Denver."
  • Anitalynriggins
"A lot of people walk their dogs, kids ride their bikes, and it’s been a pretty safe neighborhood. There are a lot of dogs that bark all night"
  • Anitalynriggins
"People walk their dogs all the time here, I do actually see kids riding their bikes and playing, or selling lemonade on the corner"
  • Joni Sharp
"Very quite safe area, we all watch out of each other. Been here over 6 years and have the best neighbors ever. "
  • Trulia User
"my neighborhood is well maintained. there are stores nearby and good job opportunities. also there are sports available for children."
  • Cynthia T.
"I lived out of city limits for 6 years. Kingman was once a little town with Stockton Hill Road once being two lanes and all dirt. In coming back now after a 3 year absence, I can't say I am much impressed. The drug problem is still widespread, Birdland looks worse than ever, and houses are being built as fast and as close together as possible. But where are good paying jobs? Where are cultural experiences? Where is diversity? Where is industry and city planning? Kingman has potential, but the sudden influx of those fleeing California shows the town is growing out, not up. Kingman needs long range goals to retain its new residents and attract others. I hope the next time I visit for a sustained period of time that I feel better about this town. "
  • Edie I.
