This school is one of the worst. God help you if your child needs or has an IEP. The new principle should have remained in retirement. Its all about who you know and that will determine how your child is taught and disciplined.

My kids were homeschool for years. They have been tested using the exact same tests public schools use to determine grade placement. They all tested at or above their grade level. When placed in Dutton Elementary, my 4th grader was asked to do Kindergarten math. They take restroom breaks as a group in first grade. Before leaving, the teacher counts every student. My first grader was somehow left behind while finishing her business. She was quite confused as to how that could happen since teacher always counts every student before leaving. My oldest was screamed at by the principal for giving a side hug to a crying friend. I have personally witnessed the principal screaming at kids very inappropriately. She is constantly on one. Very excitable and seemingly unable to calm herself. This was mostly within the first month of my kids being enrolled. Absolutely do not enroll your kids here if you have other options.

Currently going to school here, going into ninth grade. As long as you've got a good friend group, it's a pretty fine school. Teachers are awesome, education is fine. Student involvement is pretty big too, which is great. Multiple choices for sports, not too many clubs though in my opinion. (Maybe 2-3)
