My child is quite intelligent, has good grades and scores high on standardized tests. He also has some emotional needs, been diagnosed with PTSD and is very meek. I discussed all this with the principal before starting. Initially they seemed like they wanted to work with him but several weeks after he started, he broke down crying and couldn't get a grip. The principle seemed to be absolutely disgusted by him and treated him with absolute disdain. His matj teacher regularly used humiliation as discipline and it triggered him to break down. I went to the school and attempted to have a discussion but I couldn't finish a single sentence as I was continuously interrupted. I left that day with my child and immediately removed him and chose to homeschool. It was a hard decision as I am a single parent and homeschooling is a challenge regardless. I felt that their attitude would be detrimental to my child's progress. I didn't feel safe leaving him in their care. I don't regret it as he is doing much better now. If this is your child's school, I hope your child falls into the norm because anything outside of that is too much work for them. They didn't try to understand and certainly weren't willing to deal with a severely depressed child. If anything, they made him feel flawed and discarded.

Angela Archer the high school math teacher is a beautiful person inside and out. She is very respectful and doesn't play favorites. She is always at school helping and tutoring students. Some students may struggle in her class, but she's always at school before and after for help. She often compliments students looks, while looking stylish herself, and even dresses cuter than some of the jr high girls. The fact that she is allowed to teach at Frederick High School is a great opportunity for students. :)
