We are having a great experience! My son is learning, communication from core teachers, counselors and administration is great. I always know what is going on as teachers send out a weekly learning plan which helps me keep my kiddo on track. Updates to grades are frequent in the IC ap. After school activities are wonderful and part of what is keeping my son accountable for turning in all work. I do feel all his teachers care. Couldn't be more happy!

As a parent, I couldn’t be happier with the experience our family has had at Larkspur Elementary. This small school sits on 10 beautiful acres, and they genuinely make the most of it. Students spend a lot of time outdoors—whether it's learning in the school garden, exploring trails, or caring for the school chickens. Environmental education is integrated into every grade level, making learning hands-on and deeply connected to the natural world. Children learn through nature all year long. The small school size also means teachers and staff know every student by name, which helps create a strong sense of community and belonging. Larkspur Elementary offers a truly well-rounded and nurturing environment, and we feel fortunate to be part of this special school.

DO NOT GO HERE. This is the worst school ever. The teachers have no drive and give you a packet, the staff is entitled, and the security is always on a power trip. Vaz and Toliver are the only adults in the building that seem like they can actually tolerate teenagers. All the staff WILL hate you no matter if you’re nice or not. Terrible food, terrible teachers, and the students are even worse. I’ve received death and rape threats and have been groped at this school and NOBODY did ANYTHING!!! If you are a parent considering sending your kid here- DO NOT.
