3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis is by far one of the worst schools i’ve ever attended. kids is disrespectful and the adults are trifling. they’ll start with you and once u blow up they’ll play victim, ive watched it happen. they’ll ignore almost half the school which is why people do what they want like smoke or skip. some of the staff is short tempered and be cursing at students (i was one of those students) and their coworkers literally will cover it up and make it seem as though the child was disrespectful first. school food is horrible, got a stomach virus after eating a PB&J. the students leave trash around like it’s a junkyard and they’ll make it seem like they’re on ur side just to discuss something different with their coworkers. while at this school there were countless moments where ive felt hopeless because they don’t help whatsoever, they’d rather blame you for reacting. i’ve also seen way too many kids skipping for a school that only uses 2 and a half floors. then on top of that they pick and choose who they want to get in trouble and who won’t get in trouble. and when fights happen it takes the security guards almost 30 minutes to get to the fight which puts teachers in a position to step aside and separate the fight which isn’t their job. way too many adults are disrespectful and slick with their mouths. there were multiple moments where they have lied to my mom and made it seem as though i was overly disrespectful when im just defending myself from being disrespected.Student Review10mo ago9 Reviews - Ms 301 Paul L Dunbar

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe kids are great and the teachers care about helping the kids to learn. Its a small school all on one floor. There is music and dance classes. Kids can get a lot of stuff from PBIS rewards and order rewards they want and need from Amazon. They have field trips that are really fun. The after school program does a lot too. Everyone is nice, would recommend.Other Review7mo ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 514 E 163rd St #5B.

"There’s a basketball court inside a building near me and I believe that makes it special because the sport brings all people together and able to motivate each other to build a better future"

"It’s coming up. Lots of new building, that means it’s getting gentrified, so I guess that’s a good thing but other than that it’s Not safe at night. Lived here for 37 years. "

"This neighborhood is not as safe as it looks although the precinct and fire station is right across the street. Upside is there are a lot of things that are in walking distance and third Ave is a hop, skip and jump away. If your out during the day it is ok but late at night just be mindful of your surroundings"

"the fact that some buildings don't accept dogs, some buildings are friendly with dogs some are not. I would also say having to walk the dogs to a nearby park they don't have a park close enough where they can take the dog out to play and where it does his business at "

"Mind your business and you should be fine. All in all it’s not a bad neighborhood. There’s parks around each other and places you can dine in and out. Many activities around you but yes the area is rough around the edges "

"A lot of schools around and parks for children to play. Also there are hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and a lot of corner stores. There is also easy accessibility to bus and trains. Precinct is in every neighborhood. "

"The Bronx is a very beautiful city and I would definitely recommend living here especially if you enjoy peace and quiet, yes there are certain neighborhoods that spark attention and negative perspectives but it's to be remembered that it happens anywhere you go. "

"Nothing the cops don’t help the way they’re supposed to and the people want to be neighborly when they want to simple. Only thing I know is that the Bronx is okay but most of the times depending where your at it can be very crazy and I was burning and raised in the south bronx "

"Very close to Lincoln hospital, fire department and police stations. This should be a selling point for safety, however during the midday the area is full of drug addicts. And early morning and late night the sounds of sirens will wake up even heavy sleepers. "
