I went there several years ago; the disciplinary system is absolutely awful. Punishment is dealt in laps during recess, which punish students unnecessarily (especially ones who didn't do anything wrong). I'm not sure if this form of group punishment is standard, but I certainly don't agree with it. Aside from this, the teachers are of reasonable quality and are nice enough, but the system of punishment as a whole needs to be rethought.

Unacceptable Environment and Lack of ActionI’m deeply disappointed with how this school handles bullying—especially when it comes to students from Asian backgrounds. Despite repeated complaints and visible signs of distress from affected students, the administration has done little to nothing to address or prevent ongoing bullying.There seems to be a serious lack of support, accountability, and cultural awareness. Instead of creating a safe and inclusive environment, the school turns a blind eye. This is not just disappointing—it’s harmful.Every student deserves to feel safe and respected, regardless of their background. This school is failing in that most basic responsibility. I hope changes are made, but based on what I’ve seen, I can’t recommend this school to anyone who values student well-being and true diversity.

Some of my teachers barely teach. They just say “ do it yourself” or won’t help us until we get our notes out. Freeman also doesn’t have many classes for other job opportunities. The counselors don’t even do anything, and when they do they just mess it up. Also not to mention, people fight A LOT in this school and the school just gives warnings. They finally did something about it. The school doesn’t tell us everything we need to know too. Go guardian blocks websites that I actually need to do my work but it still gets blocked. It puts a limit on how many tabs we have too. Some teachers are really mean and rude to their students. Some even might say offensive things to their students. And along with that, other teachers don’t even know what they are teaching. How are the students supposed to learn when the teachers can’t even teach? The busses have become too crowded and there are sometimes 3-4 people in one seat. I feel like this school doesn’t give us enough resources to learn. The teachers don’t even know what they are teaching. How are students going to learn when the teacher can’t even teach? This school has many problems and I hope they get addressed and fixed for future students.
