While there are a few students that truly overcome the school conditions and go on to bring honor to their town, the vast majority do not. The expectations are very low. I have yet to see anyone become a commended merit scholar much less a national merit scholar. I would love to see the percentage of AP students that pass the AP test and receive college credit. Even the students complain about the class scheduling and the bullying. It's funny that most people here think the schools are good. I guess they have never been in a really good school and do not know the difference.

This school has a lot to contend with, most notably huge budget cuts, many kids who show up unable to speak English, and many kids whose parents cannot help them with their homework. Yet, there is a dedicated core of long-standing teachers there who do their best to make the most of the circumstances. The school has a cohesive spirit, very little trouble with bullying, and a growing program in which motivated parents volunteer their time to help overcome those obstacles.

No me gusto esta escuela para mi niño. Me ha tocado mirar como les gritan a los niños en especial la directora. No me da buena espina o buena vibra. La deberian de correr.

teachers only pay attention to the kids who are excelling and don't help the kids who aren't and the teachers are sexist towards men.
