DeltaPort marina and boatyard were established 50 years ago and are located about 25 miles south of Mobile, Alabama, on the West Fowl River. We have direct access (no bridges) to the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and to the Gulf of Mexico, and we are about half the distance to the Gulf of Mexico as the other recreational marinas in Mobile.The marina which is in a protected inlet, includes an excellent deep water launch ramp and slips and docks for about 30 boats. The marina has about 625' of waterfront and includes 2 1/2 acres of dry dock and parking area with a 2700 sq/ft work/storage shed. There are water and electric connections for both the marina and boatyard. This price includes boat working tools and materials plus other equipment such as hydraulic boat trailer, various other boat trailers, house trailer, small work boat, jack stands, etc. We contracted our own boats to BP during the 2010 oil spill, and we were the base for numerous other BP contractors. We currently have various regular customers including sail boats; recreational and commercial fishing boats; research boats from Dauphin Island Sea Lab; Auburn Univ; Univ of Alabama; and the State of Alabama. We also currently store, rebuild, and sell hurricane boats. This marina offers numerous additional untapped opportunities such as restaurant; store; trailer park. commercial fishing and fish processing, environmental clean-up and research or the always marina dreaded - "waterfront condos".
