The current administration is such a breath of fresh air for our district! I have had kids in all the school and have never had a bad experience. There is a definite pride amongst the students and their school and while no school is perfect I feel for a small town our is top notch. We have so many options for our kids either in the Arts or sports. We have multiple clubs and staff that really seem to care. I can't imagine having my kids be anywhere else!

Mrs.Jackson taking over as principal was the best thing to happen to this school. She's amazing with the kids, communicates with parents and I have never been made to feel as though they just don't have time to deal with concerns I may have for my son. The teachers my son has had have all been exceptional especially Mrs. Jenks. She has made school and learning fun for my son which is what ever parent wants for their child. My husband and I couldn't be happier with this school.

Discipline is almost nonexistent, besides getting sent to the RTC room. When kids are not held accountable in school, it creates issue (a simple lunch detention would suffice). Teacher communication is horrible and literally nonexistent, even when begged for, even for a child on the spectrum... Accommodations for kids with 504 plans are laughable. They can't keep counselors at all, the last was unqualified. I've had mulitple kids go through this school about 7 years apart and it's definitely gotten worse. If your kid is an achiever, you'll have no issues. I am not someone who ever writes reviews, but I felt this one was necessary. I know multiple parents who feel similarly to me. The entire school system has been awful with 504 accommodations, to be honest.
