"Thayer is a small Ozarks Mountain town of close to 2100 people approx. The Thayer school system is second to none and their sports programs are the best. Recently the Thayer football team went to the state finals championship and played in the Rams ball park in St Louis. A quiet town with neighbors that actually neighbor. They help each other and visit one another. Excellent churches and a youth center; as well as a nice senior center downtown. Plenty of shopping for a small town. Come and visit to see what I am talking about"
