"People let there dogs run loose all the time in the neighborhood. Animal control is always out here. You tell them and they don't care. Dogs in a distance from where I live bark all night and owners don't do anything about it. I can hear them from my bathroom only, TG. "
  • Starr A
"There are a lot of residents that own dogs. They are usually fenced in; however, there are some that let theirs just wonder around and they will chase and run away any deer you have in your yard."
  • Sissy T.
"Very quiet, nice neighbors, walking distance to lake! Pets love it too! Retirement community, so we’re the younger generation!"
  • Altontheiss
"Lots of dog owners here, always people walking their dogs, haven’t seen any loose which is good I don’t like dogs"
  • galemenicke
"Blue Lake Estate is for everyone. There are retirees who live here year round as well as week enders. People come here from all over the United States to retiree as the weather is warm in the summers and mild in the winters. Blue Lake Estates sits right on Lake LBJ which is a constant level lake. You even in drought conditions there is always water for your fun sports! Week enders come from all over the area and usually end up retireeing here. The community have get togetthers to celebrate some of the holidays and everyone is friendly. There is a beautiful 9 hole golf course that you can walk or ride golf carts. The yearly fee is very low with no added green fees. Everyone loves to go out for rides around the neighborhood in their golf carts. There are deer that run free and this year I have seen over 20 new fawns! With the new grocery store in Horseshoe Bay it only takes 15 minutes to get there. A new Medical Clinic is being bulit just down the road on Hwy 71 with a new hospital to follow. It's a great place to live. Come out and see for yourself!"
