Description

This timeless Southern Craftsman style home is in the Brandon Historic District. Built in 2005 as the model home for the area, it blends in beautifully with surrounding historic homes. The living and dining areas have antique heart of pine floors with two 8-foot antique four-light doors coming off the wraparound porch. Double doors lead off the dining room into a butler’s pantry with a large food pantry with ample cupboards and shelves. Another set of double doors leads into the keeping room and kitchen. The kitchen has a built-in buffet cabinet with Flemish glass for a vintage look. The long island and other counter tops are granite tile with storage space and lots of drawers. There is a gas stove and a warming drawer. The tiled kitchen adjoins a keeping room with a built-in media cabinet. The double door off the keeping room opens out to the screened-in porch with ample room for outdoor dining and relaxing.
The master bedroom has a fantastic layout that joins the master closet with the laundry. There are two exterior doors in the master bedroom, one leading to the big screened porch off the back and the other leading to the smaller screened porch on the side. The tiled master bath has double vanities, spa tub, separate shower and water closet, plus the wraparound closet has tons of built-in storage.
The laundry room can also be accessed from a common hallway off the keeping room. There is a half bath here as well with an antique vanity.
Two more carpeted bedrooms are off the foyer. Both have closets with built-ins and more closets are in the hallway between the bedrooms along with a shared full bathroom.
Downstairs all ceiling heights are 10-foot and doors are 8-foot.
The pine stairs lead up to a landing and huge carpeted bonus room/4th bedroom. There is a full bath on this level and easy attic access.
The oversized Porte Cochère is in back with storage room/workshop attached. There is parking in front and circular drive and parking in back. The lot is fully landscaped. The back and side yards are fenced with two black steel gates. Architectural shingle roof new in 2013. There are three HVAC units and two gas water heaters.
