The school is disgusting. The bathrooms always have some type of problem like the toilets being flooded or no soap or paper towels. The teachers don't know what they're doing and the curriculum sucks. The cafeteria food is disgusting, someone found live maggots inside of their cookie. Barely any teachers care when students get into fights and some even say to let them fight if they want too. This school has no diversity at all, plus the hallways are always hot and musty and the air conditioner never works.

From a former teacher perspective the school is great if you don’t have Keith Barnett as principal and Jana Tasich as Administrator. If you need to know more, just ask a current teacher. They will know and tell you more.

To any educators considering a position here: please proceed with extreme caution. The principal is characterized by a profound lack of respect and professional courtesy toward staff, even basic common decency is lacking. Beyond the condescending communication style of the principal, there is a systemic failure to address critical issues, including teacher safety and reports of physical violence- having a history of blaming a teacher after they were harmed by a student. Despite public messaging about kindness, the internal reality is an environment where staff feel disregarded and unsafe. As both an educator and a parent, I could not recommend this school for anyone.
