9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've been paying Katy ISD taxes for 5 years to send our only kid here and highly regret it! Pre-K was supposed to be fun but it became our worst nightmare! The teacher was like an army sargent with no understanding or compassion. She expected 4 year olds to behave like adults and would constantly harass us for any minor issue either by email, letter or stopping by at the car during pick up. They don't seem to like immigrant families and would immediately label any cultural difference as behavioral issues. The assistant principal is nothing short of a prison guard! She's rude and insensitive and would boss you around like she owns you with no respect for your opinion! I don't know about the higher grades, but if Pre-K is like enlisting your kid in the army, what's going on in third or fourth grade?!?!Would pay out of pocket for a private Kindergarten to let my kid enjoy his toddler years and would never look back at this place!Parent Review3y ago - Seven Lakes High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended SLHS all 4 years and graduated this year, and I must say as a parent, this school is, by far, THE BEST! I myself attended Fountain Valley High School in California, which is one of the best schools in the state, and SLHS far exceeds FVHS in education AND support. The teachers are just so incredibly involved with each and every one of their students. I most certainly NEVER had that in Fountain Valley! That may be irrelevant as a student, but as a parent, it’s so incredible! My son ended his high school years with a great sense of accomplishment and pride. He and I are so very proud of his experience at SLHS.Parent Review7mo ago - Beckendorff J High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRude is the 1st word from experience I got from my initial visits. The Principal secretary doesn't answer anything, she may even ignore the parents standing at reception. This would be my son's fifth school, but nowhere I have seen this attitude. If this is how the staff would behave, I wonder what the kids would be learning. I understand that rating wise school may be good, but that doesn't mean the staff to behave in such a bad mannerParent Review7y ago - Check out schools near 5006 Birch Manor Ln.
