6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLike any other school a student will get out of Fairhaven High what he / she puts into it, I have had ZERO negative occurances with my child. She is involved in many programs and stays at the school til 4PM regularly. The teachers have been supportive, and extremely helpful to her. All in All in this area there is not another school I would want either of my children to attend!!!Parent Review12y ago - Leroy Wood

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs far as the school and location it’s nice but the staff would be the issue. Some of the teaching practices are questionable , some of the teachers are arrogant and the quality of supervision of the children is def subpar in my opinion. Unfortunately the area doesn’t really have any quality schools since it’s a small town.Other Review4mo ago - Hastings Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does absolutely nothing about bullying. My child is on numerous medications for depression and anxiety because of the emotional, mental, and physical abuse she endures every day at that school. She has never had issues with depression or anxiety before. Her self confidence has plummeted. She has missed tons of school because she has panic attacks or migraines every morning. She can't sleep at night because she is dreading and scared about going to school the next day. We ended up at the crisis center last year because it has gotten so bad. She is getting sick all the time because of all the stress. The guidance counselor is miserable and doesn't care at all. She is constantly just pushing her off to class. It's almost as if they administration is scared to contact these kid's parents. I'm looking into pulling her out this year and have her attend somewhere else. I have had tons of contact with the principal, vice principal, and guidance counselor at this school, and literally nothing has been done to stop the bullying. I've sent tons of emails and made tons of phone calls. I've been to meetings with them. They made an incident report and 'investigated' and literally nothing has been done. They are pushing her aside to a virtual schooling program. They make it seem like she is the problem. She is the quiet kid in class who tries to stick to herself and do her work. I have had emails from her teachers asking parents to talk to their kids because a large number of children that attend this school are disrespectful and disruptive during class. I have followed up with these teachers to make sure it wasn't her causing issues ( no child is perfect, including my own ) and every teacher has said that she is a pleasure to have in class. Stay far away from this school. There is no accountability for anything that goes on in there. And if you have a sensitive or emotional child, this school could quite literally be deadly.Parent Review5mo ago - Check out schools near 50 Spring St.

"I've lived here for 15 years. It is a very welcoming community. Neighbors say hello to one another and It's a safe place to live. I grew up a street over and I wanted to come back and it has changed very little in 45 years."

"Everyone walks their dogs on leash and comply with picking up their dogs poop in poop bags. Everyone seems to walk their dogs at least twice a day and are very aware if smaller dogs come in contact with bigger dogs so that it’s comfortable for everyone to enjoy their time with their pets. My neighborhood is a very active friendly dog spot. "
