"Terrible but worth it because Steilacoom is awesome. Commuting anywhere in Washington is terrible to be perfectly fair."
  • Robertemoynihan
"Steilacoom is very walkable, with the waterfront, local restaurants, and several parks nearby. People are very friendly and houses are well kept. We love living here!"
  • Brandon J. K.
"Beautiful, friendly, safe, waterside town. Unique restaurants, beer room, and pub. Welcoming small town feel. "
  • mthibo4
"Right in the heart of downtown Historical Steilacoom village- a 2 blocks from the beach and ferry dock."
  • Obrien9999
"We find the people very friendly, the views outstanding and the traffic light. Monday through Friday there is transit bus service every two hours, but not on weekends. Shopping is a couple miles away. The two restaurants we visited are good. We appreciate the welcome at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, but Mass is only on Sunday; it is only 1.6 miles from our home to St John Bosco in Lakewood. As newcomers, we appreciate the neighborhood barbeque our neighbors hosted."
